About Kendra joy

The Polar Bear Patrol had to shoot the young bear behind me after it became aggressive. I love polar bears and hate to see them killed. However, it had to be done for the safety of the village. I walk to school every day, and I’m grateful for the patrol.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Kendra Joy. After a calling from God in 2023, I moved to the top of North America to teach in a small, remote Alaskan village. Russia is about 300 nautical miles to the southwest, and I walk on the same tundra as the polar bears.

I love the beach, collecting shells, beach glass, and rocks, experiencing new adventures, and reading books.
